WTP Audio gets souped up for 2020

The 22″ WTP Audio returns for 2020 in an eye-catching translucent blue package. This thing looks bad ass!

Which is not to say that the previous iterations looked bad…it’s just that this model takes thing to a whole other level (and I’m also a sucker for trans blue frames).

But the improvements on the 2020 Audio are more than just cosmetic. New additions for this model year are the Logic Stem and the Supply Chain.

More importantly the fork has been updated to be sturdier, with a “bombproof steer tube/crown area”…a welcome bit of news for 22” riders that sometimes cast a wary eye toward the forks that have come on some complete bikes (from a variety of companies) in the past.

Pair all that with their high end Logic wheels and grippy Overbite tires and you have one impressive 22″ machine.

2018 WTP Audio 22″ up close

Ever since we got the first look at the 2018 We The People Audio, we were hooked.

Then when WTP pro,  Felix Prangenberg  took it out to the trails and got it dirty…we were even more stoked.

Our anticipation level has been high with this bike –especially with WTP being tight-lipped on the geo and other particulars around the bike–but at last, the important details have been revealed!

Here’s how the specs break down:

  • Head tube: 74.5°
  • Seat angle: 71°
  • Top tube: 21.9″
  • Chain stay: 14.2”
  • Bottom Bracket:12.4”
  • Stand over: 9.15”

The frame, fork and bars are “full chromoly aftermarket spec”…and if you know WTP, their bikes live up to that description.

The colorway? Black copper.

The weight? Just under 26 pounds.

2018 WTP Audio gets dirty

We got a first look of the 2018 We The People (WTP) Audio being put to the test a few weeks back by WTP pro, Felix Prangenberg.

Felix took the 22″ Audio out to the park and proceeded to shred with a combination of street and park moves.

Now, thanks to the wonders of Instagram, WTP has followed up with a post of Felix roasting the trails.

Dang, is there nothing this bike can’t do?

Seems to look pretty good just standing still too.

Watch for the new 22″Audio, along with a full range of 22″ parts, to hit WTP dealers in the latter part of the Summer.

First look: 2018 WTP Audio

Ever since we heard We The People (WTP) had jumped on the 22″ wagon, we were anxious to see what they had up their sleeve.

They teased us with pictures of their new 22″ tires and teased us with the news that a full-blown complete was on the way.

Well, this week, we got more “details” on the new 22″ complete from WTP.

The details being it that it passed the “shred test” by WTP pro, Felix Prangenberg.

WTP filmed him riding the 22″ Audio complete and if I can quote their Insta page,

   We gave [him the bike] to ride for the day and man did he put this thing to   work.

Did he ever…

This bike definitely has chops.

According to WTP, the complete will be hitting shops this August.

I would suggest bugging your WTP dealer now.

I suspect these are going to be pretty popular.
