Two new 22″ frames? It’s the Truth

Truth BMX is starting to make a name for itself in pretty much all areas of the BMX world.
Over on Cruiser Revolution, we’ve peeped their sweet race frames and their cool 26″ street frame.
Now the dudes at Truth have turned their attention to the 22″ scene with two new frames: the Hollywood and Mechanicsville.
And the same attention to detail and quality appears to have carried over from their previous efforts.
The longer of the two frames, the Hollywood, breaks down like this:
  • 74.25 degree head tube angle
  • 71 degree seat post angle
  • 22.11″ top tube
  • 14.25 chain stay center to center
  • 9″ standover
  • 14 mm dropouts
The Mechanicsville shares all the same specs, with the exception of a 21.6″ top tube.
Other pertinent info?
It’s 100% Cro-Mo (of course) with plenty of space for fat tires.
Color options are black, raw and chrome.

2018 WTP Audio 22″ up close

Ever since we got the first look at the 2018 We The People Audio, we were hooked.

Then when WTP pro,  Felix Prangenberg  took it out to the trails and got it dirty…we were even more stoked.

Our anticipation level has been high with this bike –especially with WTP being tight-lipped on the geo and other particulars around the bike–but at last, the important details have been revealed!

Here’s how the specs break down:

  • Head tube: 74.5°
  • Seat angle: 71°
  • Top tube: 21.9″
  • Chain stay: 14.2”
  • Bottom Bracket:12.4”
  • Stand over: 9.15”

The frame, fork and bars are “full chromoly aftermarket spec”…and if you know WTP, their bikes live up to that description.

The colorway? Black copper.

The weight? Just under 26 pounds.

BF on the BF22

Brian Foster busted out the 2018 FitBikeCo BF22 on his Instagram today and shared some of his thoughts on the bike after spending the day shredding it.

 I can see taller riders and older dudes that don’t get  out as much as they used to but still want to cut loose really being into this. It is super comfortable and a little more forgiving than a traditional 20 inch.

Sounds good to me.

First look: 22″ Stolen Spade

We’ve waiting a while to check out Stolen’s 2018 22″ offering and it has definitely been worth the wait!

And you know with a name like “Spade” you just know this rig was designed with the trails in mind.

The Stolen Spade sports a full cro-mo frame, fork and bars and is available in a black or copper finish. (A Spade Pro frameset is also available in polished raw.)

Here’s how the specs break down:

  • Head tube angle: 74.25°
  • Seat tube angle: 71°
  • Top tube: 22.25″
  • Chainstays: 14.1″ slammed/14.3″ C-Cs

The S-bend chainstays also provide ample fat tire clearance.

Hot damn, this looks good.
